We tend to take plastic for granted due to the fact that this versatile material is now used in manufacturing many of the objects that we use on a daily basis. Compared to the aforementioned technique, this one doesn't require the same expensive equipment and the welding itself is performed at lower costs as there is no need for expensive and maintenance intensive ventilation systems. In order to join cylindrical or spherical components, it is safe to resort to spin welding because there is no trade-off in quality in exchange for lower welding costs.
